Are you an urban grower navigating the rules and regulations related to growing and selling food? A gardener who is thinking of selling some of your produce? A school or non-profit organization involved in farming?
Workshop #3 @ IRC Youth FarmWorks at St. Lukes Episcopal Church (Thursday, April 19, 2018) This workshop will introduce participants to planning and marketing an urban farm business that meets your goals and vision. Participants will:
• Meet experienced local growers, and learn about their sales and marketing plans and methods;

• Get up to speed on labor laws, business planning tools, and potential marketing channels.
Hosted in partnership with SDFSA, UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (UC SAREP), UCSD Center for Community Health, and International Rescue Committee (IRC) Youth FarmWorks.
This is the first in a series of four San Diego County workshops that will be held on 3/23, 4/5, 4/19, and 4/26, covering additional urban agriculture topics. Information and registration for all four workshops can be found at:
